Full Screen Google Maps

This was before I had Windows XP, that means I had 98. So no Google earth on that machine, and it would have been too heavy for that machine anyways... I tried to find a full screen google maps made by someone else, but I found none. Only one option was left: do it yourself. I did.

Full Screen Microsoft Maps

Same as full screen Google maps, but for Microsoft's maps.

"Illegal" Liero TCs

Ok, they're "illegal" because 1. Most of the graphics are not by me 2. Most of the sounds are not by me 3. Let's just say I took stuff everywhere and put it together. I wouldn't have put this here if liero wasn't this dead, I don't think there are many who play it "daily" so I thought: just let people play these TCs!

Starsiege: Tribes

Or Tribes 1 or Tribes how I like to call it. This is the first FPS I've played, and the best. I think I found this game by reading a newsletter on my email, this was in 2002-4 I really can't remember. Tribes has this "unofficial addon" called hudbot. It allows you to use true color tga files to replace the textures, more about hudbot can be found here. I have some hudbot skins (not all are made by me). I put them here because they're quite hard to find nowadays, as most links to them are dead.

Enhanced terrain textures, for all terrains. What I actually did is that I resized the textures from 128x128 to 256x256 with Photozoom pro. Doing so reduces the pixelation because it kinda "bypasses" the bilinear resize Tribes will do. I sharpened the textures to make the terrain more bumpy. Enjoy :). Oh-- if you look at the previews, you won't see much difference, but in game the difference a bit clearer. Also some spots look MUCH better than before, for example the dry mud under the bridge on Raindance.

These files are kindly hosted by Rye.

"Hi-res" weapons skins. These are actually the the original skins just extracted from the vols and resised with Photozoom pro. It DOES make a difference, Photozoom pro's resize algorithm is a lot better than bilinear that tribes uses (I think..). The difference can be seen on the disc launcher skin very easily.

Transparent planets. If you're using new skies with hudbot you might have noticed that the planets have borders (see preview). Download this to get rid of them. This a small side effect - as the planets are transparent you'll see stars through them, but IMO it's better than the borders.
